TRAKS SERIES

TRAKS stands for: "Training Routes And Kingdom Strategies." They are five basic courses designed for every member of The Well City Church in order to be trained in the same concepts, vision and understanding of our purpose and mission. So that they may become an integral part of fulfilling the great commission and becoming active in Christian ministry.

TRAKS are five very simple trainings courses to help people get involved in the
ministries of The Well City Church. These training courses are structured in such a way that everyone can have the same page in basic understanding of what the church is all about, what we believe, where we are going and how we can help minister to others as the Lord adds to the church.

TRAKS 1: Encounter  

The encounter at TWCC is many things. It is a time to seek God, a time to receive ministry, to be grounded in the basics of faith, to be renewed by the Holy Spirit, to have revelation of truth, to renounce past sinful ways and habits and to have a new spiritual beginning in your life. During this encounter we believe you will come to know who you are in Christ Jesus and how much He loves you. You can find freedom in Christ from your past sins and spiritual strongholds that have gripped your life.

The Encounter Retreat is a one-day experience with the Holy Spirit, enabling new believers to solidify their conversion experience and gain an understanding of the doctrine of salvation and the work of the Cross of Christ. This encounter with the Word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit helps new and growing Christians define and target areas of weakness, spiritual strongholds, sinful tendencies and long --standing habits and deal with them in a biblical manner by renouncing sin and iniquity in their life.

TRAKS 2: Membership

At TWCC we believe it is a sacred and important decision for a person to make the confession, "I am a Christian." It is equally as important to declare, "This is my church where the Lord has planted me.

The Members Seminar is a one-day immersion into the vision and strategy of The Well City Church. This enables believers who are new to the Church to evaluate their own commitment before becoming an official member. Membership, at The Well City Church, is viewed as a public and formal declaration of agreement with the vision and doctrine of the church and desire to become a committed and active member.

TRAKS 3: Disciples           

The Disciples Class is instruction in the foundational truths of God’s Word. Whether for new believers or veteran Christians, these teachings help secure strong foundations for future ministry and the training of others. Every Member will benefit from these lessons on the fundamentals of faith.

TRAKS 4: Builders   

Churches that are built on one man will crush that person as the church grows or will only
grow as much as the pastor can handle. But churches that are built on a multitude of dedicated
disciples can handle more and more growth and size and weight as the church increases in
number. If we are to successfully accomplish what God is calling us to do as a church, we must
learn to build together.

The Builders Ministry Training is designed to train and equip every member of The Well City Church in the fundamental skills and philosophy of Christian ministry. This course has three goals: to equip very Member to Serve; to encourage every Member to win Souls; and to inspire every Member to start or join a Connect Group, a small group in the church.

Definition of a Builder:
A BUILDER is a term we use in The Well City Church to describe a member or a person who is
being added to and joined in the Spirit to this local church who wants to be more than a
spectator -- who wants instead to be a participator!

TRAKS 5: Leaders               

Leaders training is for those Members who have already completed the four previous traks and are ready to start a connect group and disciple others, fulfilling the great commission of Christ. Focusing on prayer and loving evangelism, the Connect Groups of The Well City Church will be expressed in a diversity of settings, styles and meeting times. These Connect Groups will allow every Member to find a smaller setting to express their gifting, calling and passion for the Lord and the gospel.

WHY LEADERS?
1. Every believer should be active for the Lord through the ministries of the Church.
2. God wants every believer to serve in the church, operate in his or her spiritual giftings,
    and be fruitful.
3. Every believer is a leader- influencing other people, a full time minister, to preach the
    gospel and lead people to Christ.
4. There need to be leaders in the Church who step up to help teach and disciple others.
5. All of us are commissioned to fulfill the Lord’s command to go and make disciples.
